About the Team

Sasha Helfner

Sasha Helfner (she/her) is a Research and Evaluation Specialist in the Ecological Determinants Lab in the Department of Psychology at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa. She provides support to this project through developing mixed-method survey instruments and conducting literature reviews at the local, state, and federal levels. In her lab position, she has engaged with various projects related to opioid overdose prevention, housing and homelessness, HIV and hypertension, and health equity. She earned her Master of Arts in Geography and Environment at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa and her Bachelor of Science in Public Health at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
